Some of the frequently asked questions :

What should I wear ?
The layering approach works the best.  We recommend having a warm fleece and weather resistant parka for any inclement weather we may encounter.  In the hottest months of the summer it may be nice to include a swimsuit as well as sunglasses and a brimmed hat.

What type of shoes should I wear ?
If you are scenic floating or fishing a half day, all footwear is appropriate since we will be spending most of our time in the boat.  Feel free to wear a secure sandal on the hottest days.  Full day fishing trips will be provided with wading boots, so bring your socks, and again it is nice to have a pair of sandals along as well.

Can I bring my own gear ?
Yes, feel free to bring  any fishing gear you like.

Do I need any gear ?
No, we will provide you with all the gear necessary to fish or scenic float.

Do I need a fishing license ?
Yes.  A day license can be purchased at any fishing shop or visitors center.  The cost is $14/day, fourteen yrs. old and older.

Where do we meet ?
We'll pick you up anywhere in Jackson, Teton Village and Wilson.

How far is the Put-in ?
Ten minutes from Jackson, Teton Village, or Wilson.

Which section of river do we float ?
The section commonly referred to as the South Park section, just south from Grand Teton National Park.

What trout species are we fishing for ?
Mostly cutthroat trout, with the chance of a brown or brookie as well.
